New: Mercedes-Benz Classic birth certificate for passenger cars built between 1986 and 2010

  • Factory-documented vehicle configuration as concise summary
  • Designed in top quality and issued in a presentation folder
  • Mercedes-Benz Classic Store’s range extended to include a vehicle-specific offering

For the first time ever, a birth certificate is now available for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars built between 1986 and 2010. It provides a concise summary of the manufacturer’s specifications regarding the vehicle’s original configuration. The birth certificate is available for almost all Mercedes-Benz passenger car model series from this period – from various generations of the E-Class and S-Class, as well as the SL and SLK, all the way to the A‑Class, C-Class and R‑Class. The birth certificate can be ordered via the Mercedes-Benz Classic Store. It is currently not available for AMG models, vans or smart vehicles.

“Every vehicle has its own story. With the birth certificate, we make information from our archives accessible to owners of classic Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The birth certificate documents the vehicle’s condition upon delivery with the original configuration, from equipment all the way to its colours and key vehicle data, thus establishing a direct connection between each individual vehicle and its history. For many enthusiasts, the birth certificate will become a collector’s item in its own right.”

Alexandra Süß, Member of the Management Board of Mercedes-Benz Heritage GmbH
