Travelling by car
Approaching on the A8 motorway from Karlsruhe: at the Stuttgart-Vaihingen motorway intersection, join the A831 motorway, then take the B14 road signposted "Stuttgart-Zentrum". Continue on the B10 / B14 road, then follow the NeckarPark traffic guidance system to Mercedes-Benz Arena / MercedesâBenz Museum.
Approaching on the A8 motorway from Ulm: take the "Esslingen" exit onto the B313 dual carriageway; from here onto the B10 in the direction of Stuttgart as far as the "Stuttgart-Ost" exit, then follow the NeckarPark traffic guidance system to Mercedes-Benz Arena / MercedesâBenz Museum.
Approaching on the A81 motorway from Heilbronn: take the "Zuffenhausen" exit; from here onto the B10 in the direction of "Stuttgart-Zentrum", then follow the NeckarPark traffic guidance system towards Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt / Esslingen then towards Mercedes-Benz Arena / MercedesâBenz Museum.
Please be aware of the ecological area around Stuttgart which requires so called environmental tags.
Travelling by train
From Stuttgart "Hauptbahnhof" (main station) take the S-Bahn (urban railway) line S1 heading for Kirchheim (Teck) to "Neckarpark (Mercedes-Benz)" then follow the guidance system.
Arrival by boat
Boats stop regulary at the landing Mercedes-Benz Welt/NeckarPark. Further information: www.neckar-kaeptn.de
Travelling by bus
Bad Cannstatt station is served by S-Bahn lines S1, S2 and S3 as well as by the regional rail network and RegionalExpress. Bus line 56 connects Bad Cannstatt station with MercedesâBenz World (departs daily from 8.30 a.m. to 10.00 p.m.)
Parking facilities
Please use either the museum multi-storey car park or the adjacent multi-storey car park P4. (The P4 multi-storey car park does not have any parking spaces for disabled persons nor does it have lifts).
Minibuses and buses over 1.90 metres in height may use the bus parking spaces behind the MercedesâBenz Center.
Parking facilities
in the museum’s car park or in the P4 multistory car park. Parking fees: one € per hour for the first, second and third hour; two € per hour from the fourth hour. Present your parking ticket when shopping in our museum shops or visiting our restaurants and you will be granted one hour of free parking.
Parking spaces for visitors with a disability is available in the museum's multi-storey car park. You will find these on the ground floor beside the parking ticket machines and glass door. If you use a wheelchair, we kindly ask you to follow the signs leading you to the lift.
We are happy to welcome all visitors travelling in an oldtimer vehicle. You are more than welcome to park on the mound at the main entrance to the museum. This also applies to those travelling with a disability in a vehicle higher than 1.90 metres.
Access routes to the MercedesâBenz Museum are restriced on occasions where VfB Stuttgart is playing at home or during major events. In these cases, we reccommend that you use public transport.
Parking for classic cars
Please be aware of Green Zones in German cities from January 1st, 2008, which require so called environmental badges.
Cars with red, yellow and green badges may reach the Mercedes-Benz Museum at any time. This is also valid for classic cars with an H-licence number.
Visitors of the museum with a classic car may park this from Tuesday to Sunday exclusively on the hill in front of the Mercedes-Benz Museum.
